Synopsis

The man Koharu loved wasn't cheating on her...he was cheating on his wife with her! And not only that...he was the third guy in a row to do so. Dejected, she leaves Tokyo for her hometown, and rejects a future of love and marriage for a simpler life. But things have changed—her parents are struggling, the café they ran is closed, and a creepy man keeps following her around. She thinks this may be it for her, until she learns that her hometown has allowed polygamous marriage, and she's in that man's sights as his third wife!

Hare-Kon. originally ended with 187 chapters on June 17, 2019. Serialization returned on January 17, 2022, with the after story "Hare-Kon. Okawari!" The eight Okawari! chapters were relabeled as chapters 188 through 195, and published as volume 20 of the original series.

The manga was nominated for the 42nd Kodansha Manga Awards in the General category in 2018.

The series was published digitally in English as Harem Marriage by Kodansha USA from January 5, 2021, to December 10, 2024.

This manga REEKS of sexism and patriarchy. It is the perfect example that just because it was written by a woman doesn't mean it's feminist. Unfortunately women can adopt sexist views as well.

I read a couple of reviews before writing mine and it seemed that no one stated what was obvious to me. Forget about scores, characters , art etc for a moment. I feel like everyone who has read this manga stayed up really late to read it, like myself... It's a curse. I've read the reviews and known what I was getting myself into but wow... it was worse than I thought.

The polygamous relationship peaked my interest and curiosity at the beginning and tbh it was pretty enjoyable up until a certain point. (For me, it was around chapter 105.) The author really forced this idea of keeping a polygamous relationship when it really didn't need one.
