Anitore! EX

Personally, I believe this is the most underestimated anime of all time. This is a prime example of not judging a book by the cover, and here's why. Not only does this anime sur the limits of offering fan service to the viewers but it also supplies us with a rich story that is gripping from start to finish. The voice acting is top tier and the writing is extremely poetic. My only complaint is some of the characters weren't showed enough compared to some of the others. The dancing scenes were amazingly choreographed with amazing camera shots. This must have taken multiple hours of ... planning even though each episode is 4 minutes. I wish everyone could watch this because not only did I watch it sitting down but rewatched it while doing the workouts with them. I have lost a lot of weight and I feel like society can except me!

When I started to watch this series, I set myself a challenge to complete it to the end no matter what. Why? Because I like toturing myself. Stretch your legs and put your pants off, this is my review of Anitore! EX.

Story: 4/10
Fitness.

Okay that is not really fair, but that is what this story is: Fitness. People excercising and giving you instructions on how to excercise. I guess they prepare for a show for the last episode and there is a bunch of side stories going on, but it shoehorned in a ... way that you question what even the point of that was.

I was seriously going to compliment this anime for its animation. It is not half bad and it is pretty fluent for a four minutes series, but then episode 6 happens. Do you like awkward CGI cuts, well this episode has a whole four minutes deticated to that. And yes, the CGI itself is godawful.

Sound: 5/10
Do you like cute anime girls squeeking? We got that here. I personally don't prefer them squeeking, I Always watch hentai with the sound off. Oh yeah, there only one song that I from this anime and that is the one from episode 12, because it is also the ending. Get ready for a lot of awkward dubstep in episode 12!

Character: 5/10
It is the most generic cast of characters you can imagine with only two standing out: Yuu, because she is the cutest girl in the series, and Akiko who says random cheesy satanic things while excorcising and I love it. My favorite quote from her is ''Praise the Dark Lord''.

Overall: 5/10
This is an anime which is hard to get mad over. Its only job is to let people excercise and it does its job well, but why. Why in this medium. Why do you even try to put effort into it? If we were to delete everything that resembles excercising in the anime all that we are left is is Satania from Gabriel Dropout and Anzu from Hinamatsuri standing in a room dicking around and saying really bad dialog.

I dropped Anitore! but then after a while I continued to watch it, now the real question is why? How can I review something like this? Im gonna say this now, at first glance, I thought this show was going to be at least entertaining, sure it's just about girls exercising but there is more possibilities that can still happen, character interaction, but nope, I was wrong, WAY wrong!
Unless you want to look at innocent girls exercising don't even try to watch this show, now.. let's see what Season 2 has to offer... oh god help me~
