Korrina is the gym leader of Shalour City and meets Ash as they are traveling towards it. Korrina is studying Mega Evolution and s Ash & co. in order to help find the ability to evolve her Lucario and to hunt for even more Mega Stones. She was given her Key Stone by Gurkinn in the Tower of Mastery. She also collects the footprints of all the Pokémon she battles, including Pikachu.
