This is a short story that takes place in the midst of the second Wandenreich invasion. Highly recommend finishing TYBW before reading it.

Without getting into too many spoilers, it mainly focuses on expanding Kira's character. We learn more about his mindset and how the events of the Soul Society arc affected him, as well as how he survived his encounter with Bazz-B in TYBW.

We also learn more about Shaz Domino, the Quincy Ichigo wrecked in the first invasion. Turns out he has a surprisingly interesting ability and origin story.

Aside from that, this story gives Kira genuinely badass scenes and some of the coldest lines in ...
