Hiramoto, Akira, the artist for popular ecchi manga, prison school, teamed up with Kaneshiro, Muneyuki, a writer from popular sports manga, Blue Lock, to create this masterpiece.

*Incredibly light chapter 1 spoilers* A lonely, depressed chocolate factory worker finds a sparkly ball on his way home from work. After curiosity drives him to bounce the ball, a beautiful, long-haired woman emerges and falls into his embrace.

In addition, the art is good and the pacing is great.

Hiramoto-Sama has yet again blessed us with another piece of his artwork; however, long lost are the intricacies and complex plot that once lived in the pages of his previous work, Prison School. Instead, we are presented with a harem of girls that literally fall from the sky. Not having any clue where the girls come from, Ichiyoshi (the protagonist) decides to take care of them. The plot, Ecchi and borderline hentai, quickly turns dark and horror when we are shown that the girls have super strength, which leads to some gruesome death scenes. Given that the girls quickly multiply in a process that I ... won't reveal here, the protagonist realizes that the girls can present a threat and sets his objective to prevent the world from knowing about them.

Super Ball Girls retains the weirdness and superb art of Hiramoto-Sama, but can I recommend it? I have mixed feelings about this manga. The mangaka illustrations are top-tier, but the plot has been a loose end for me. It goes from unnecessarily ecchi scenes (kind of expected from Hiramoto-Sama) to action-packed/bloody sequences, but I don't see where the story is going. Sure, the girls are probably not humans and are a threat to the world, etc., but I fail to see what the goal is (and I am in chapter 17 already). The introduction of what I think are irrelevant characters that quickly disappear only to be seen many chapters later makes me question if those characters have anything to add to the story. Those useless(?) characters make me lower my score further.

Don't expect to understand the story, and don't expect hentai either. You can expect suggestive themes, some cliffhangers, and extreme violence.

The first ~20 chapters are bait. This is vile. It clearly is supposed to be a harsher theme hidden behind that wacky and fun facade but this is just a bad taste lame fetish hentai.
The other reviews that rated the manga after ~7-8 chapters call it "wholesome and cute" or a "good story".
I am 35 chapters deep now and this is all factually and objectively wrong. This series as a whole is NTR. That is the whole story. "Alien girls evil and chocolate strong + NTR" is the whole story. But there is no depth in said NTR. Is it wacky and fun? Sure. But ... it is not complex or wholesome and cute.
Another review mentions the "MC and his girlfriends" living together and it being "fun and wholesome". EVERY character is hentai style mindbroken NTRd. EVERY female char, no matter who you ship. MC is also not the MC anymore. The hentai protag is.

This is NOT for you if are looking for fun, romance, wholesomeness, cuteness, an actual story or.. well anything beyond the usual mindbreak NTR hentai.
