I'm caught up to chapter 69, and man that cliffhanger!

The characters are funny and trope-y, and this series is full of memes because Jaekyung (the top) says the most awkward lines, but in a good way. Kim Dan (the bottom) is like a forever virgin. The bedroom scenes feel like Groundhogs Day because every time he's sooo surprised, even though Jaekyung bends him over like every day lol. The side characters are hilarious, even wilder than Dan and Jaekyung to me haha. Especially Potato, he's a riot!

Jinx has all of my favorite genres wrapped into one; Drama, comedy, thriller, action. It has a tiny ... drop of romance but more's to come because this is made by Mingwa, and BJ Alex was like that as well. I don't think I can ship Dan and Jaekyung, but who knows. I didn't think I could ship Alex and DG but they ended up being my fave BL ship.

Really, hats off to Mingwa for making a captivating story with a wild plot like Jinx. The plot is genuinely crazy good, but it's overlooked for the bedroom scenes, which are also great. My fave times are when they do it in public and all the shenanigans that ensue. The cliffhangers are amazing and leave me on the edge of my seat every 2, 12, and 22nd of the month. I'm counting down to mid-July

It's sad to see the negative reviews, like it's just fiction and honestly not that serious. There's a lot more intense Manwha out there, and Jinx is pretty tame in comparison... but since it's so popular everyone acts like it's the most extreme series being published today, unfairly. Jinx is popular for a reason, well, many reasons but I'll leave it there

Jinx is the 2nd manhwa by Mingwa, the creator of one of the most famous BLs of all time, BJ Alex. and comparing BJ Alex to Jinx.... it's disappointing.

Jinx is about this guy named Dan who gets hired as a personal physical therapist for a professional MMA fighter named Jaekyung, but then, Dan learns that Jaekyung has a "jinx", he needs to have sex before every one of his matches so he can win, and in return, he'll pay Dan a large sum of money, which seems like an interesting premise, but its just executed some-what poorly

Most of the chapters are just Jaekyung and ... Dan fucking, and then some story development, and then them fucking again. Not much character development is inserted into the chapters.

On the bright side, the art is extremely well done and the backstories of the characters (especially Dan) are executed very well. It just has something missing from it that it needs to truly shine as a good, original BL manhwa.

It has extremely good potential, which is why I recommend to stick with it and see how it goes on in later chapters.

This manga is from the same author who did BJ Alex. Although the art style is beautiful, it doesn't distract from the awful contents. This author includes situations of sexual abuse and manipulation in this story, as well as violence. For this to be called a BL or romance is just shameful.. This is a manga romanticizes sexual abuse. The author did this in BJ Alex but it's so much worse in this one. If you're thinking of reading this, don't. This story will most likely end up with the two characters eventually falling in love but that's literally ... not okay.
