My ratings are based on both subjective factors and a few objective factors. I review most of the things I rate, so my opinions typically aren’t a mystery. Why do I like the manga for Dragonball and Inuyasha more than AoT and Hakusho? The former 2 are really fun shonen that ran a bit too long, but maintain a decently consistent quality. While I love the Hakusho anime, the manga suffers from pretty horrendous art and the last arc was completely aborted due to Togashi suffering stress. As for the Attack on Titan manga I’ve honestly never liked it even before the ending.

I’ve read quite a few different things since the pandemic started in early 2020. I track all that I read on my Goodreads which is linked at the top of my page. I also keep a list of favorite authors and works on my profile although you have to scroll down. I’m aware my MAL profile is cluttered and messy!

I completely agree with you. I was heavily biased as I read the source material and, when compared, the anime is awful. But as a standalone anime it isn't that bad. But, and I'm not just talking about the art here, the overall adaptation is just bad. Sure, the manga's art is difficult to adapt into anime form, but there are a lot of other aspects where the adapatation is lacking. First of all, I want to point out that I've only watched 2 episodes from the anime, as at that time episode 2 was the newest and that was the point when I decided to read the manga, and after a bit of reading, I made the review and stopped watching the anime cause the source material was better. That said, I can't really criticize how they adapted the actual story much due to how little of the anime I've actually watched. So the only things I could talk about at that time was the art, sound, and where the story was heading. The art was not good. Even if the art from the manga was hard to replicate in anime form, it doesn't excuse the fact that the animation is extremely clunky, the proportions on character's faces are sometimes off, and, as I pointed out in the actual review, the anime just feels cheap. On to the sound. The OP is pretty good, but the actual soundtrack was pretty average. Finally, the story. From the first couple of episodes we can see Yatora discovering his ion for art and starting to improve but nothing really amazing had happened at that point, although it was looking pretty good. So I think the 5 I gave in the review was still a pretty accurate rating, although a bit biased in the art section. I had later changed my rating for the anime to a 6 which I think is much fairer. Oh and about the point where I talked about the writing in a negative light, I don't know when I even talked about the writing in my review because as I said earlier, I was only two episodes in so I couldn't talk much about the plot. I even pointed out in the review that if you don't particularly like reading manga, you could always watch it to get a feel for the story cause I think the adaptation of the actual story was pretty good from the two episodes I saw. But yeah I was pretty biased about the whole thing cause after reading the manga I realized how good it was and how good the anime could've been.

Because it sucks for this reason. It seems so to me, I don't really care if others like it, now it depends on my preferences. Sounds like shit to me Re: Zero. It doesn't even have a logic in what happens and repeats the same scene 50 times as if we were interested in seeing it again. And I'll tell you right now if you've come to exasperate me because I gave it a grade of 1, you better not do it. You're wasting my time because I don't care anyway. If you didn't come for that it's really good :)

Are you really that interesed? Most of the time when I explain it people just change goalposts or completely ignore my comment, so I prefer to not waste my time

Good luck arguing with this retard. Anyone who disagress simply doesnt understand his"Masterful" analysis based on opinions(On a serious note leave him be he is basically an immature edgy teenager who wants to act high and mature i mean do adults even have time for such bullshit with so many things going on in life?)
Also this guy just deleted my last reply and comment on his blog to make it look "objective" considering he couldnt even counter that properly
