I watched this on cable tv when I was in middle school and even then I could tell how ass it was, I cringed so hard while watching. The secondhand embarrassment nearly killed me. Midoriya is the most annoying main character I have ever set eyes on, he is such a crybaby loser and don't even get me started on Bakugo. I've seen other people make this point as well and I fully agree, out of all the freaky looking people this sweaty preteen goes to school with he chooses to bully Izuku Midoriya his childhood friend just because he doesn't have a quirk? Not the weirdo pulling his eyes out of their sockets?? Half of the freaks in their middle school class don't even have useful quirks, how is puffing up like a bullfrog useful in any manner during combat? I'll tell you it isn't. Now let me get to the one thing I really dislike about this show. The fandom. Some of y'all and I'm fully aware it isn't all of you, but a large majority are freaky as all hell. I've seen grown ass adults sexualize the characters who need I remind you are children. That however isn't the only problem in this fandom, far too many of y'all are so strange and sometimes toxic I find myself having to log off the internet and touch grass. The Tik Tok someone made roleplaying a pregnant Deku made me wanna permanently delete the app. To be completely honest despite not even liking the first season even a little I might have watched the other seasons but the weirdos I witnessed online completely dissuaded me from doing so.
I will say that if this is your cup of tea and you like this anime I have no qualms with you. My opinion is my opinion and not fact. The anime had a relatively interesting plot I'll give it that but, in my opinion failed to deliver something I could find enjoyable. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
