As a standalone animation this series is not spectacular, however as an aside it helps you to understand the history of the tanks presented in Girls und Panzer as a whole. It's an interesting addition to the series that shows just how much thought has been placed into the skirmishes the girls go through upon the battlefield. Highly recommended if you have a general interest in history, also recommended if you have a niche interest in tanks (although if that's the case you may already know more tbf lol).

Overall an interesting side piece to the anime with some bad jokes, "fun" facts, and slight misinformation (AKA bias). 7/10... 🙃
